Exhausted? Confused? Lost?
There's a word for that.
And tools to help. Â
Adoptive parenting can be hard! Sometimes you don't even know what to say. Or you can't even begin to understand why your child says or does some of the things you see on a daily basis.
Let me assure you. You're not crazy. And they're not crazy!
I'm a Korean American adoptee, licensed clinical counselor, and founder of my private mental health practice Therapy Redeemed and the Adoption Literacy framework.
One of the most common challenges families and professionals share with me after I deliver a keynote or a workshop is, of course they're often doing their best to help the same child or navigate similar situations, but they tell me it's so hard to get on the same page in terms of what interventions they're using, why, for how long, etc.
It's like everyone's speaking a different language.Â
And in some ways they kinda are.
What I've found is one of the biggest barriers that families face is a lack of shared language around events and circumstances that deeply impact their lives. That can create a mismatch of tools and strategies, confusion about what progress looks like, and frustration from feeling as if everyone's working against each other.
That's too bad because it's not necessarily a lack of skills (and yes there's a place for building those!), it points to a need for common words and perspectives that turn confusion into clear, confident, intentional action.
I created this 6-week group to help you experience that transformative process in your family. You go from hanging on by a thread to actually nurturing the relationship you want with your child, with real coaching and practical tools made just for foster and adoptive families.
If you've ever felt alone and overwhelmed, or you want to continue growing as a parent, this group can help!
The next 6-week consultation group will begin in January 2026. Join the waitlist now to share your timing preference, and secure your $50 early bird coupon.Â
