6-Week Virtual Group for Foster and Adoptive Parents
Register Today for Winter 2026 (Jan-Feb)
"Love is enough" isn't working anymore? Â
As a foster or adoptive parent, have you ever wondered how to best support your child through their journey?
As a Korean American adoptee, I've been on the other side of that. I spent too many seasons without the right tools and resources.
Now, as a licensed clinical counselor, Founder and CEO of my private mental health practice and Adoption Literacy, I want to make sure families don't have to wait as long as I did to get that support.
Register for the 6-week Adoptive Parenting Consultation Group to learn the language, tools, frameworks, and community experiences that adoptees around the world wish their parents had (remember, it's never too late to learn!!).
Let's get you feeling less confused and overwhelmed about how to support adoptees to confidently, compassionately being able to navigate your child's journey alongside them as an adoption-literate parent.
I created this 6-week group to help foster and adoptive parents go from hanging on by a thread to actually nurturing the relationship you want with your child, with real coaching and practical tools made just for foster and adoptive families.
If you've ever felt alone and in over your head, or you want to continue growing as a parent, this group can help!
Join me for the next 6-week consultation group beginning in January 2026!

Tuesdays at 11am-12pm Central Time (9-10am Pacific Time, 10-11am Mountain Time; 12-1pm Eastern Time)Â

Cam Lee Small, author, clinician in private practice, and dynamic advocate for mental health and Adoption Literacy, brings lived experience and professional expertise to the forefront of his mission.Â
Cam is both an alum and training facilitator for the cohort-based Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate, which includes over 70 hours of continued education delivered through University of Minnesota’s Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare - to increase the number of qualified permanency and adoption mental health and child welfare professionals across Minnesota.
Cam’s community-based vision for adoptee-informed advocacy is evident through his 1:1 counseling services, live workshops and support groups, and his unique blend of content creation/collaboration across digital and grassroots platforms. His book The Adoptee’s Journey: From Loss and Trauma to Healing and Empowerment addresses the intersection of adoption, mental health, and social responsibility. Cam's personal insight stands honestly next to his professional acumen, making him a transformative force within the adoptee community and throughout the fields of advocacy and mental health.
It’s all rooted in this one vision of Adoption Literacy… a world in which those who experience the trauma of being separated from their families are met by a village to help them tell that story… and find healing from it, too.
